EMA  AQUARIUM / Marine Exploration Lab

EMA operates a FREE Community AQUARIUM / Marine Exploration Lab on Topsail Island NC. We are open to the public year round to allow th local and vacationing community the opertunity to learn and grow together!
Ecological Marine Adventures offers children and families the chance to learn, explore, and discover a variety of marine enviornments.
EMA AQUARIUM is outfitted with touch tanks, a ray touch pool, aquariums, marine science reading / research corner, ocean arts / crafts station, and Topsail Island ecology exhibits.
EMA Marine Exploration Lab is equiped with microscopes (digital / compound / dissection), exploration / dissection stations, ID guides, and data collection stations.
EMA Field Exploration Stations these locations are full of diverse wildlife allowing children and families to discover and explore their marine world using seine nets, dip nets, plankton nets, water sampling equipment, and various sediment grabs.
